Deane Penn, M.D. Deane Penn, M.D. Received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his M.D. from the University of Tennessee. His Internal Medicine training took place at the University of California and his Gastroenterology fellowship was at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Dr. Penn is a Fellow in the American College of Gastroenterology and a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is a Clinical Instructor in Gastroenterology at Mount Sinai Medical School.

Irving Paltrowitz, M.D Irving Paltrowitz, M.D Received his B.A. form the University of Rochester and his M.D. from New York University. His Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology training was at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York where he was a Clinical Instructor. He is a Fellow in the American College of Gastroenterology and a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Joel Goldfarb, M.D. Joel Goldfarb, M.D. Received his B.A. from Yale University and his M.D. at New York University. His Internal Medicine training was at NYU and his Gastroenterology Fellowship was at Columbia. He also completed a Liver Fellowship at Yale. He headed the endoscopy unit at Albert Einstein Medical Center before joining this practice in New Jersey. He is now an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical School.

Michael Schmidt, M.D. Michael Schmidt, M.D. Received his undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester and his M.D. from Chicago Medical School. His Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and advanced Biliary Endoscopic Training took place at the Yale/Norwalk Medical Center. Dr. Schmidt is a Clinical Instructor at Mount Sinai Medical School.
